Text
In the event that an employee of the department is determined to have been held hostage, the employee shall be eligible for paid leave of absence for a period of up to sixty days, as determined by a licensed physician, psychiatrist, or licensed psychologist to be necessary for recovery from stress. Such paid leave shall not be charged against any of the employee's vacation or other accumulated leave accounts.
