The Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children is hereby enacted into law and entered into with all other jurisdictions legally joining therein, in form substantially as follows: ARTICLE I. PURPOSE The purpose of this Interstate Compact for the Placement of Children is to:

A.Provide a process through which children subject to this compact are placed in safe and suitable homes in a timely manner.
B.Facilitate ongoing supervision of a placement, the delivery of services, and communication between the states.
C.Provide operating procedures that will ensure that children are placed in safe and suitable homes in a timely manner.
D.Provide for the promulgation and enforcement of administrative rules implementing the provisions of this compact and regulating the covered activi
