Text
1.Applications for licensure as an interpreter shall be submitted to the division on forms prescribed by the division and furnished to the applicant. The application shall contain the applicant's statements showing the applicant's education, certification by either the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, National Association of the Deaf or Missouri Interpreter Certification System and such other information as the division may require. Each application shall contain a statement that it is made under oath or affirmation and that the information contained in the application is true and correct to the best knowledge and belief of the applicant, subject to the penalties, as provided in sections 209.319 to 209.339 , for the making of a false affidavit or declaration.
