Text

1.There is hereby established within the Missouri commission for the deaf and hard of hearing a board to be known as the "Board for Certification of Interpreters", which shall be composed of three members.  The executive director of the Missouri commission for the deaf and hard of hearing or the director's designee shall be a nonvoting member of the board.
2.The members shall be appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate from a list of recommendations from the commission.  The members shall be appointed for terms of three years.  No member shall be eligible to serve more than two consecutive terms, except a person appointed to fill a vacancy for a partial term may serve two additional terms.  One of the members appointed shall be deaf, one shall be a certified
