Text
1.Beginning July 1, 1983, in addition to those benefit payments for medical assistance for eligible needy persons authorized under the provisions of section 208.152 , benefit payments for medical assistance may be made on behalf of those eligible needy persons who are unable to provide for it in whole or in part for adult day care and treatment to those persons who would require placement in an intermediate care facility or skilled nursing home as the latter two terms are defined by section 198.006 .
2.Payments under this section shall be made on the basis of the reasonable cost of the care as reasonable cost of the services is defined and determined by the MO HealthNet division.
