Text
The director of the fraud investigation division may seek civil restitution of any moneys dispensed under Medicaid for services provided to any resident or under section 208.030 which have been misappropriated, fraudulently obtained, or constitute overpayments. The authority of the director of the fraud investigation division under sections 198.139 to 198.186 to seek civil restitution does not diminish the authority of the department to seek restitution.
