Text

The moneys in the organ donor program fund shall be expended as follows:

(1)The department of health and senior services may enter into contracts with certified organ procurement organizations, other organizations, individuals, and institutions for services furthering the development and implementation of organ donation awareness programs in this state;
(2)Education and awareness initiatives, donor family recognition efforts, training, strategic planning efforts, and registry initiatives;
(3)Publication of informational pamphlets or booklets by the department of health and senior services and the advisory committee regarding organ donations and donations to the organ donor program fund when obtaining or renewing a license to operate a motor vehicle pursuant to subsection 2 of sec
