Text
Upon receipt of a report that an eligible adult between the ages of eighteen and fifty-nine is facing a likelihood of serious physical harm, the department shall:
(1)Investigate or refer the report to appropriate law enforcement or state agencies; and
(2)Provide services or refer to local community or state agencies.
