Text

1.The department of health and senior services may require that fingerprint submissions be made as part of an application seeking licensure as an emergency medical technician or "EMT", an advanced emergency medical technician or "AEMT", or a paramedic, and an application seeking certification as an emergency medical technician-community paramedic or "EMT-CP", as such terms are defined in section 190.100 .
2.If the department of health and senior services requires that fingerprint submissions be made as part of such application, the department of health and senior services shall require applicants to submit the fingerprints to the Missouri state highway patrol for the purpose of conducting a state and federal fingerprint-based criminal history background check.
