Text

1.  The department shall, within a reasonable time after receipt of an application, cause such investigation as the department deems necessary to be made of the applicant for an air ambulance license. 2.  The department shall have the authority and responsibility to license an air ambulance service in accordance with sections 190.001 to 190.245 , and in accordance with rules adopted by the department pursuant to sections 190.001 to 190.245 .  The department may promulgate rules relating to the requirements for an air ambulance license including, but not limited to:

(1)Medical control plans;
(2)Medical director qualifications;
(3)Air medical staff qualifications;
(4)Response and operations standards to assure that the health and safety needs of the public are met;
