Text

Any member of any school board who accepts or receives any money, gift or any property, or favor whatsoever, from any person, firm or corporation selling or offering for sale any textbooks, or any agent thereof, or from any person in any way interested in the sale of textbooks, shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than six months, or by both the fine and imprisonment.
