Text
The state board of education, upon the recommendation of the state commissioner of education, shall appoint the superintendents of the Missouri School for the Blind and the Missouri School for the Deaf. All teachers, officers and employees of the schools shall be appointed by the state board of education upon the recommendation of the superintendent of the respective school and of the state commissioner of education. The state board of education shall determine the number of teachers and employees and shall also fix their compensation. The salaries and wages due teachers, officers and employees of these schools shall be allowed and paid in semimonthly or monthly installments, as designated by the commissioner of administration.
