Text
The treasurer of each urban district, before entering upon the discharge of his duties as such, shall enter into a bond to the state of Missouri with one or more sureties, approved by the board, conditioned that he will render a faithful and just account of all moneys that come into his hands as treasurer, and otherwise perform the duties of his office according to law and shall file the bond with the secretary of the board. On breach of any of the conditions of the bond, the board, or the president or the secretary thereof, or any resident of the school district, may cause suit to be brought thereon, in the name of the state of Missouri, at the relation and to the use of the school district.
