1. Every vendor shall designate with the director of revenue an agent for service within this state for the purpose of enforcing sections 144.600 to 144.745 . If a vendor fails to designate with the director of revenue an agent for service within this state, the doing of business as a vendor as defined herein shall be deemed
(1)An agreement by him that he, his executor, administrator or other legal representative shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of this state in all civil actions and proceedings brought against him, his executor, administrator or other legal representative by the state for the enforcement of this section in connection with such business;
(2)An appointment by him, his executor, administrator or other legal representative of the secretary of state o
