Text
Any lawfully appointed deputy sheriff may perform all acts and things herein required to be done by the sheriff, including the conduct of any sales, reports of such sales and the issuance of deeds according to the order of the court, in the name of and with like effect as the sheriff himself might do, and the salary and expenses of such deputy sheriff or deputy sheriffs shall be paid semimonthly by the collector to the sheriff in lieu of all other costs or fees payable to the sheriff, upon certified itemized requisition from the sheriff.
