Text
If during the pendency of any such suit the incumbent of the office of collector shall cease to hold such office the county clerk shall act as substitute collector for all purposes under sections 141.210 to 141.810 until such collector's successor has qualified, and such action shall proceed without requiring the substitution of the county clerk or successor incumbent as a party.
