Text
1.The general law relating to taxation and the collection of delinquent taxes, as now existing, shall apply to counties of the first class having a charter form of government insofar as not inconsistent with the provisions of sections 141.010 to 141.160 , except that counties of the first class operating under a charter form of government may hereafter elect to operate under the provisions of chapter 140 , the general law relating to the collection of delinquent taxes, by the enactment of an ordinance by the legislative body of such county.
2.In addition to any other provisions of law related to delinquent tax collection fees, in all counties having a charter form of government and more than six hundred thousand inhabitants, the collector shall collect on behalf of the county and pay
