Text

1.It shall be the duty of the clerk, secretary, auditor or comptroller of any county, city, village or school district, on the first day of July, A.D. 1897, to furnish the state auditor a statement verified by his oath, of all the bonds and coupons of such county, city, town, village or school district theretofore registered by the state auditor and then outstanding, with all the details as to date of issue and maturity, rate of interest, place of redemption and purpose for which issued and the said officer shall, annually thereafter, on or about the first day of January, make a statement of the bonds and coupons retired by his county, city, town, village or school district since the last report.
2.The state auditor shall make entry of the bonds so reported as retired, and where bonds
