Text
Every officer required by any law to make settlement with the respective courts, and pay over to the county treasurer, who shall fail to settle his accounts in the time and manner prescribed, may be attached, and unless good cause be shown, may be imprisoned until such settlement shall be made to the satisfaction of the court to which he is accountable.
