Subdivision 1.License requirement.

(a)A person may not buy or sell raw furs without a fur-buying-and-selling license, except:
(1)a taxidermist licensed under section97A.475, subdivision 19, and a fur manufacturer are not required to have a license to buy raw furs from a person with fur-buying-and-selling licenses; and
(2)a person lawfully entitled to take fur-bearing animals is not required to have a license to sell raw furs to a person with a fur-buying-and-selling license.
(b)An employee, partner, or officer buying or selling only for a raw fur dealer licensee at an established place of business licensed under section97A.475, subdivision 21, paragraph (a), may obtain a supplemental license under section97A.475, subdivision 21, paragraph (b).
