Subdivision 1.Compliance with federal law. The commissioner shall take any action necessary to comply with the Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act, United States Code, title 16, sections 669 to 669i, and the Federal Aid in Fish Restoration Act, United States Code, title 16, sections 777 to 777k. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, an appropriation for an information or telecommunications technology project from the game and fish fund, as established in section97A.055, must be made to the commissioner. Any assets acquired with or expenditures made from the game and fish fund must remain under control of the commissioner. Subd. 2.Restriction on license revenue.
