Subdivision 1.Fire extinguishers. Inboard motorboats, houseboats, and other motorboats carrying or using fuel or other inflammable or toxic fluid in an enclosure of the boat must be provided with the number, size, and type of fire extinguishers as may be approved by the commissioner. Fire extinguishers approved by the commissioner shall comply with requirements of the United States Coast Guard. The extinguishers shall be at all times kept in condition for immediate and effective use and shall be so placed as to be readily accessible. Subd. 2.Fuel area ventilation.
