If any provision of sections72A.33to72A.39or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or application of sections72A.33to72A.39which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of sections72A.33to72A.39are declared to be severable.
