Subdivision 1.Violations generally. Any person violating the provisions of section64B.14, subdivisions 2 and 3, shall be guilty of a felony; and, upon conviction, liable to a fine of not more than $10,000, or to imprisonment for not more than five years, or to both fine and imprisonment. Subd. 2.False or fraudulent statements or representations. Any person, officer, member, or examining physician, who knowingly or willfully makes any false or fraudulent statement or representation in, or with reference to, any application for membership for the purpose of obtaining money from or benefit in any society transacting business under this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor:
