Subdivision 1.Reference.

(a)Any reference to "standard provisions" which may appear in other sections and which refer to accident and sickness or accident and health insurance shall hereinafter be construed as referring to accident and sickness policy provisions.
(b)Notwithstanding paragraph (a), the following do not apply to health plans:
(1)subdivision 2, clauses (5) to (10) and (12);
(2)subdivision 3, clauses (1) and (3) to (7); and
(3)subdivisions 6 and 10. Subd. 2.Required provisions. Except as provided in subdivision 4 each such policy delivered or issued for delivery to any person in this state shall contain the provisions specified in this subdivision in the words in which the same appear in this section.
