Subdivision 1.Law enforcement. A local law enforcement agency that accepted temporary transfer of firearms under section624.7175shall return the firearms to the respondent after the expiration of the order, provided the respondent is not otherwise prohibited from possessing firearms under state or federal law. Subd. 2.Firearms dealer. A federally licensed firearms dealer that accepted temporary transfer of firearms under section624.7175shall return the transferred firearms to the respondent upon request after the expiration of the order, provided the respondent is not otherwise prohibited from possessing firearms under state or federal law.
