Text

On motion of a person in interest the court may:

(1)determine the value of property of the debtor in the hands of the garnishee;
(2)make an order relative to the keeping, delivery, or sale of the property that is necessary to protect the rights of those interested; or (3) require the property to be delivered to a receiver or other person appointed by the court. If the garnishee refuses or neglects to comply with an order of the court, the garnishee may be held in contempt of court, and is also liable to the creditor for the value of the property, less the amount of a lien.
