Text
Section527.40, subdivision 1, does not apply to custodial property transferred under section527.26or527.27before May 17, 2020. For custodial property transferred under section527.26or527.27before May 17, 2020, the custodian shall transfer in an appropriate manner the custodial property to the minor or to the minor's estate upon the earlier of the following terminating events:
(1)the minor's attainment of 18 years of age or (2) the minor's death.
