Subdivision 1.Aid amounts.

(a)The commissioner of revenue shall make reimbursement aid payments to compensate for the loss of property tax revenue related to the trust conversion application of the Shooting Star Casino. The commissioner shall pay the county of Mahnomen, $1,010,000; the city of Mahnomen, $210,000; and Independent School District No. 432, Mahnomen, $140,000.
(b)The payments shall be made annually on July 20. Subd. 2.Appropriation. An amount sufficient to pay reimbursement aid under this section is annually appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of revenue.
