All proposed Metropolitan Council procurements over $125,000,000 must be reviewed by the members of the Legislative Advisory Commission under section3.30and the ranking minority members of the house of representatives and senate committees or divisions responsible for overseeing the items subject to the proposed procurement. The chair of the Metropolitan Council shall give notice to the Legislative Advisory Commission secretary when a procurement over $125,000,000 is being considered. The commission shall take testimony on the procurements.
