Subdivision 1.Property transfer. The council of a port authority city may transfer or cause to be transferred to its port authority any dock, waterfront, or riparian property owned or controlled by the city, and located within the port district. The transfer must be approved by majority vote and may be with or without consideration. The city may also put the same property in the possession or control of the authority by a lease or other agreement for a limited period or in fee. Nothing in sections469.048to469.068restricts the city or any municipality from owning, developing, using, and improving port or terminal facilities. Subd. 2.Space, services.
