Subdivision 1.St. Louis County grants. In St. Louis County, the social services board shall award grants each year for St. Louis County School District No. 710 to carry on a nutrition program in the schools and to provide hot lunches for needy school children. The total amount of the grants shall be not more than $20,000. The county shall appropriate the amount needed each year from the general fund to the social services department. Subd.
