Subdivision 1.Public procurement. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, contracting and purchasing of goods, materials, supplies, equipment, and services that are included as part of a contract for the purchase of goods, materials, supplies, equipment, or services are specifically exempted from sections383B.141to383B.151and471.345to471.371, or other applicable laws related to public procurement. Subd. 2.Purchasing and service contracts. The corporation may purchase directly or utilize the services of a nonprofit cooperative hospital service organization, the county, the state of Minnesota, the University of Minnesota, or any other political subdivision or agency of the state of Minnesota in the purchase of all goods, materials, and services that the corporation may require.
