Subdivision 1.Establishment. The county board of Hennepin County is hereby authorized and empowered to establish and maintain on any property owned by the county a pistol range for the training of sheriff's deputies and other law enforcement officers in the use of firearms, as well as encouraging marksmanship by permitting National Rifle Association sanctioned or approved pistol matches to be held at such range. Subd. 2.Maintenance costs. Annual maintenance cost shall include the furnishing of targets and ammunition, except for National Rifle Association matches, said costs to be included in the sheriff's budget. Subd. 3.Use. The county board of any such county is also authorized and empowered to agree with any state agency or department, and with any home rule charter or statutory city
