Subdivision 1. MS 1990 [Repealed,1991 c 51 s 6] Subd. 2.Warrant-check.

(a)On each warrant that Ramsey County draws on the county treasury, the county shall state the purpose for which it is issued. The warrant may be so designed that it becomes a check on the county depository and may be known as a "warrant-check."
(b)The warrant-check need not show the fund from which drawn. Subd. 3. MS 1990 [Repealed,1991 c 51 s 6] Subd. 4.Illegal expenditure; gross misdemeanor. A county commissioner who knowingly authorizes or makes a payment or incurs an obligation in violation of the provisions of this section is guilty of a gross misdemeanor. Subd. 5.Lapse of appropriations.
