Text

The county board shall establish funds in the county offices and departments as it deems necessary for the purpose of making change only. The change funds shall be established by making an appropriation for them from the proper fund in whatever amounts the county board shall determine. The officer receiving a change fund shall be its custodian and responsible for its safekeeping and use. The change fund shall not be used to make payments of expenses provided for in section375.16.
