A county license bureau may issue, process or assist in preparing an application for any license or permit issued by the state or a state official including but not limited to game and fish, trapping, wild rice harvest, motor vehicle, manufactured home, trailer, snowmobile, watercraft or driver's license or as many of the licenses as designated by the county board. The processing of driver's license applications by a county license bureau is subject to the provisions of section171.061. This authority does not include the issuance of marriage licenses. The county board may delegate the responsibility for the issuance of any county license or permit to the county license bureau.
