Subdivision 1.Filing.

(a)Any person claiming an interest in any property delivered to the state under sections345.31to345.60may file a claim thereto or to the proceeds from the sale thereof on the form prescribed by the commissioner.
(b)Any person claiming an interest in property evidenced by a will or trust document, or court order, may submit to the commissioner only such portions of the document or order necessary to establish a claim. Subd. 2.Appropriation. There is hereby appropriated to the persons entitled to a refund, from the fund in the state treasury to which the money was credited, an amount sufficient to make the refund and payment.
