Text

The secretary of state may establish satellite offices by written agreements with public officials within the state for the purpose of meeting the filing officer responsibilities described in sections336.9-528to336.9-530. The term of the agreement must be set by, and may be renewed by, mutual agreement. The agreement may be terminated upon 60 days' notice. The secretary must maintain a list of those public officials authorized to act as satellite offices. The secretary of state must make this list available in an electronic format and the list must be updated at least monthly.
