Text

Subdivision 1.Construction violation. No person shall construct a boiler, boiler piping, or pressure vessel so as not to meet the minimum construction requirements of the ASME boiler and pressure vessel code, and the rules of the department. Subd. 2.Repair violation. A person who repairs a boiler or pressure vessel by welding or riveting must meet the minimum requirements established by the current edition of the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors inspection code and the rules of the department. Subd. 3.Sale violation. No manufacturer, dealer, or other person shall sell or offer for sale a boiler or pressure vessel that does not meet the minimum construction requirements of the ASME boiler and pressure vessel code and the rules of the department.
