Subdivision 1.Nondepartment seminars. This section applies to seminars that are offered by an entity other than the department for the purpose of enabling licensees to meet continuing education requirements for license renewal. Subd. 2.Continuing education approval. Continuing education courses must be approved in advance by the commissioner of labor and industry. Subd. 3.Content.

(a)Continuing education consists of approved courses that impart appropriate and related knowledge in the regulated industries pursuant to this chapter and other applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.
