Subdivision 1.When license required. Any person performing any asbestos-related work within the state must be licensed by the commissioner, whether directly performing asbestos work or causing it to be performed through subcontracting or similar delegation. A domiciled owner of a single-family residence is not required to hold a license or pay a project permit fee to conduct asbestos-related work in the domiciled residence. Subd. 2.Display of license. Licensees shall post a project permit, obtained from the commissioner after compliance with the provisions of section326.74and rules promulgated under section326.78, in a conspicuous place outside of the asbestos work area.
