Subdivision 1.Definitions. For purposes of this section, the terms defined in this subdivision have the meanings given them.

(a)"911 emergency telecommunications system" means a dedicated emergency telecommunications system required by section403.025.
(b)"Person" means an individual, corporation, firm, or other legal entity.
(c)"Service provider" means a person doing business in Minnesota who provides real-time, two-way voice service interconnected with the public switched telephone network using numbers allocated for Minnesota by the North American Numbering Plan Administration. Subd. 2.Representations of 911 service. A person shall not advertise, market, or otherwise represent that the person furnishes a service capable of providing access to emergency services by dialing 911 unless
