A manufacturer who violates sections325E.386to325E.388is subject to a civil penalty not to exceed $1,000 for each violation in the case of a first offense. A manufacturer is subject to a civil penalty not to exceed $5,000 for each repeat offense. Penalties collected under this section must be deposited in an account in the special revenue fund and are appropriated in fiscal years 2008 and 2009 to the commissioner to implement and enforce this section.
