Text

This section covers dead, dying, or disabled animals and the whole or partial carcasses of animals that died other than by slaughter. The commissioner may adopt rules to assure that items covered by this section are not used as human food. A person in the intrastate business of buying, selling, or transporting items covered by this section must comply with those rules.
