Text

Two or more societies of the classes named in section315.26may form a corporation by adopting a canon or resolution and having a copy certified, verified, approved by the attorney general, and recorded as provided by section315.23. The canon or resolution may be adopted (1) in joint session by representatives, delegates, and others entitled to vote at the regular meetings of the societies, respectively, for the year in which the canon or resolution is adopted or (2) in joint session by committees elected or appointed by the societies, respectively, for that purpose.
