Text
Subdivision 1.Attorney general investigation powers. The attorney general:
(a)may make public or private investigations within or outside the state as deemed necessary by the attorney general to determine whether any person has violated or is about to violate any provision of sections309.50to309.61or any rule or order thereunder, or to aid in the enforcement of sections309.50to309.61in the prescribing of rules and forms thereunder, and may publish information, concerning the violation of sections309.50to309.61or any rule or order thereunder.
(b)may require or permit any person to file a statement in writing, under oath or otherwise as the attorney general determines, as to all facts and circumstances concerning the matter being investigated.
