Text
By a vote of a majority of its members, the commission may request any agency issuing rules to hold a public hearing in respect to recommendations made under section3.842, including recommendations made by the commission to promote adequate and proper rules by that agency and recommendations contained in the commission's biennial report. The agency shall give notice as provided in section14.14, subdivision 1, of a hearing under this section, to be conducted in accordance with sections14.05to14.28. The hearing must be held not more than 60 days after receipt of the request or within any other longer time period specified by the commission in the request.
