Text

(a)All records on file in the state fire marshal's office shall be public, except:
(1)any testimony, correspondence, or other matter taken in an investigation under the provisions of this chapter, which the state fire marshal may withhold from the public; and
(2)any data collected on the locations of storage and use of explosives or blasting agents by individuals authorized under sections299F.72to299F.831, which shall be classified as nonpublic data pursuant to section13.02, subdivision 9.
(b)The state fire marshal may share nonpublic data related to the storage or use of explosives or blasting agents with law enforcement, and with employees of a government entity or utility, as defined in section609.594, subdivision 1, whose job duties require access to a facility containing explosive
