Subdivision 1.Demonstration project for persons with disabilities.

(a)The commissioner of human services, in cooperation with county authorities, shall develop and implement a demonstration project to create a coordinated service delivery system in which the full medical assistance benefit set for persons with a disability eligible for medical assistance is provided and funded on a capitated basis. The demonstration period shall be a minimum of three years.
(b)Each demonstration site shall, under county authority, establish a local group to assist the commissioner in planning, designing, implementing, and evaluating the coordinated service delivery system in their area.
